    Hi,

I am from Turkey. I have tested pilehave's capital font. Here are the results for Turkish "special" chars:

    I : OK
    Ğ : NOT OK (\u011e)
    Ü : OK
    Ş : OK
    İ : NOT OK (\u0130)
    Ö : OK
    Ç : OK

    Please test the attached font!

    :D

What cache? No, but I have tried in another computer

To make it clear I did not try in mediaportal. Just opened a MS word and see if the font supports before mentioned chars.

I think I may have uploaded the wrong font without changes...try this new one instead. I'm not sure of the difference between the characters "Idot" and "Idotaccent", but please test it.

Thanks Pilehave, I have updated the installer with the edited default caps file.

Now I need to know what blackmagic is required to edit the font files :)

Pilehave, why would this new file be 10K smaller the orginal we have? Was there stuff you removed?

I've read elsewhere that polish special characters are also not capitalized in the Fluid Body Caps font.

    You can say that again!

Just tested polish translations today and looks very bad. I will compile a list of chars.

No magic, just using a program called "High-Logic FontCreator".

The thing is to open a font that you know works, like "Verdana" in the program, and find the character you wish to fix. Then you create a new "glyph" in the font that doesn't work, edit it to have the same properties like the glyph in Verdana, and then you create the missing character (the actual graphics forming the letter).

Important thing to remember is to map the glyph to right position in the character table. But just look at the working font (Verdana) to not what it is mapped to.

This can usually be done by copying parts from the existing glyphs - if not you have to create it yourself. But 99% of the time it's not a problem to copy it from other glyphs.

As to why the font-file is much smaller - I have no idea. Nothing was deleted

And if you compile a list of missing characters, I'll be happy to apply a fix :)
