GUI Properties

Hi,
I really like the last.fm plugin, really good work
I am using C.All Plugin to get infos to display on my lc-display.

Is the plugin exporting any GUIProperties (I hope this is the right term) that I could use to create a screen for my display like artist and song, duration and so on?

If not, I would be delighted to see it implemented in the future if it´s not to much trouble

Hi

I have a problem with the last.fm plugin. It's not really related to mediaplayer, but maybe you can help me . I have some wavpack and flac files on my drive, but when I play them on MP or WMP, they are not scrobbled. On the other hand, scrobbling with winamp works flawlessly.

Most likely those are not added to the DB. (or incorrect)

I just 'discovered' the Last.fm plugin and it look great....

I am having issues with it though.

I have enabled both plugins through setup, signed up and got an account with Last.fm, and added the username info to configuration.

When I choose the Last.fm plugin from My Plugins:

It loads, and I get 3 lines of text on an all black screen:
Start / Change stream
No tags
No friends (how did it know )

When I choose 'Start / Change stream'
It pops up a blue options box with several options. The only one that works is Mediaportal Radio users group. It then streams the music and gives ma an occasional picture....

BUT, I am stuck in this screen...I cannot use escape, back or any other key / command to get out of it.

If I use the escape key, the screen goes all black and all text/pictures are gone...

At this point I have 2 options, listen to music (forever), or reboot....

Am I missing some sort of UI or??

I am using the 0.2.2 stable MP

The other streams will work after you "scrobbled" a few more tracks. (For the plugin to "know" your music taste).

The Escape-Issue is new to us - please supply a MediaPortal log.

The issue was that the skin I was using, 'Butcher 2 16.9 022', did not have a xml page for the Last.fm radio. Therefore I was sitting in a black screen (lost in space).

Once I changed to the 'MePo Green Wide' skin everything worked!

Hi RTV, I found a new small bug.

When entering no or the wrong password, the LastFM radio waiting cursor circle will wait forever and only a restart of MP can make it go away.

Perhaps a global setting for MP as a whole could help to avoid this problem. Like a timeout of 30 settings, and then the wait cursor disappears

I second the request for a global timeout setting. I've seen the neverending spinning circle many times, and the only way to recover is to restart MP.

Please supply full bug reports then!
The spinning circle bug for last.fm does only occur after some relocation of code when the authentification fails. (You'd need to close MP to enter the correct pass using configuration.exe nevertheless )

If you spot that with BlueTwo at any other place just report it please.
