LatestMediaHandler v1.6.1.0 (4 Viewers)

Hi Cul8er,

Not sure if should post this here or in the fanart handler forum but as this happens after Avallonis install, and latest media info is the only other thing installed with Avallonis, I thought here would be a good place.

I completely uninstalled MP

Installed the latest and then scanned my music folders. Nothing else was altered in MP config and the music all appears fine.

Installed Avalon, set to the Avalonis skin in MP config and started MP, All was well with music.

Installed Avellonis and went into MP config to set Avallonis as skin to use. Started MP and went into music. Sure enough the thumbs had gone haywire and lots of music albums disappeared.

I looked into changing the view to share etc but no change there??

Not sure if it’s me but is there anything else I can check??

I have attached a set of logs and XML's as you requested. One set is pre Avellonis install and one set is post Avallonis install, if that helps ??

Ignor my post as I have just found the issue. It was a combination of the View and sort by that was causing the issue. Managed to get them all back. Only thing now is that when i have set them and come out of music, go back in and they have changed view and sort by again??

Hi,

Thanks for the update and glad it worked. To change what music view is opened when you press music in the Avallonis menu use the editor. Update the current music menu so it points to the mymusicsongs.xml and don't select any "View". This will open music in Shared view and all should be fine.

I played lately a lot with LatestMediaHandler and tested the new filmstrip mode and I love it!

Just one thing I noticed:
I can't get #latestMediaHandler.movingpicture.selected.rating to work. Is this a known bug/limitation?

A new version is now available.

The new version contains;

• Support for MyVideos (if you run MP 1.3 Alpha or later)
• some bugfixes
• performance improvements in facades
• support for IRSS remotes in the latest context menu (these remotes was stuck in the context menu before)
• optimization of code
