ok, it is good to know that it works the way I ment it should. I have problem with configuring plug in, it crashies when I try to start setup. Is there a way around (I don't want to install latest CVS because I stragled a lot to achive this level of stability). Is it possible to direct edit some xml config file...

Yep, you can edit the ExternalDisplay.xml file in your MP home folder.
It should be fairly easy to find the PropertyBrowser option.

With FrontView, you could try to use the other plugin I'm working on.
Look in this thread for more info...

just reporting that I made a reply with the "other plugin" thread. Thought this was more appropriate.

Enable the PropertyBrowser in the plugin configuration.
It will show all the properties that are known in MP, but more importantly it will show the current MP status my plugin is detecting.

The status should be PlayingRadio. If it is not, then there is a problem in my detection mechanism.

    Joe

There is no property containing value PlayingRadio in property browser...

    jdivic,

It is not a property. There are 2 textboxes in the bottom of the status screen. One is the Active Window, the second is the status that my plugin has detected.

If I choose radio it's not showing the radio name but the filename played, also it shows [#currentplaytime/] instead of [#currentplaytime]

Furthermore it isn't showing the logo's but just the visualization on the radio screen... I checked with propertybrowser and when I play radio it uses the PlayingVideo status. Don't think it's correct??? I also guess this has nothing to do with the LCD plugin but maybe a change or bug in MP. Can you confirm this?

Are you playing real radio, or radio streams?
I noticed on my machine that when playing (real) radio, the status says "Idle", meaning doing nothing at all. I haven't tried playing streams yet.

I'll have a look at it, but at the moment I'm doing some work on my other plugin...

Same here... showing Idle while playing real radio from PVR-150MCE...

    Strange...

When I'm playing radio streams, I get the status PlayingMusic. (Latest CVS)
That seems to be logical, because it is really the musicplayer that does the playing: I checked in MP and g_Player.IsRadio returns false when playing radio streams. g_Player.IsMusic returns true.

So there is nothing I can do about this.

I'll also have a look at playing real radio (using radio card).
