    Flipit,

I sent you a PM with a link to a beta version of my plugin with iMON support to try...

    Thomas,
The API looks pretty straightforward so I'll be able to provide you a test program soon...

    Thomas,

I uploaded a test program for your SED133x USB display.
You can find it here: http://users.skynet.be/fa303665/SED133xTest.zip

    Can you please try it?
The program crashses here when I press the Clear or SendText buttons, but I don't know whether that is because there is no display attached, or because of a bug in my program...

You should be able to choose "iMON" as display type in the plugin setup screen. I checked it here and the option is in the list. Read the included readme.doc file of complete installation guide...

Yes, please give feedback in a PM, as it will not be of interest for other readers of this forum topic...

    Thanks Neo,
    Here is the link:
    http://users.skynet.be/fa303665/ExternalDisplay12b.zip

    Looking forward for your feedback...

    What I'm interested in is:
    - Does it work?
    - Does the data being displayed make sense?
    - What happens when a long string is displayed? Is it truncated or does it scroll?

I think you need to have the display drivers installed, but I guess you know more about that than I do...

    Ok, here the results:

    1) It works! Great!
    2) The data surely makes sense
    3) I regret to say it's truncated

Yes!!! I wish I could include all display types that easy...

I was silently hoping that the API would scroll the data when it is too long.
But no problem, I can reuse the scrolling mechanism from the other display types... The next version will have scrolling support...
