Should be fixed in current CVS.Seems to be a bug in the new progress bar code. If I have a movie that is 1h 23m 34s long the progress bar incorrectly reaches 100% already at 1m 23s...
Hmm, I missed that one. This is definitely a bug, because it is possble to specify a condition on a TextProgressBar. I simply forgot to test the condition, before calculating the result. Also would be nice if IsNull/NotNull could be used in TextProgressBar (don't want to show progress when paused).
Nice work! Most of these kinds of displays already worked using my other (MCE Compatible Display) plugin, but then the possibilities were limited. Communicatiing directly wth the display, through the driver DLL certainly gives use more possibilities. Please send me a PM (in het Nederlands mag ook ) with your MSN or ICQ account, or contact me on IRC. Then we can disuss what is possible and how to do it...After quite some work I finally figured out how to drive most parts of the Asus S-Presso S1-P111 front panel display, using the Asus-supplied afpd.dll. I will probably even post a first version of an SPresso plugin some day soon.
I'm wondering whether it is possible to add support for this display to the ExternalDisplay plugin, instead of creating a seperate plugin. This might be difficult, as the display contains several parts that can be driven individually. Can anybody comment on this?
Now, today I detected a little "bug".
To reproduce, try the following:
set option in mp setup/general to "close to tray"
open mp
go to music
enter a folder (album)
play a song
press close (mp goes to tray)
result: song plays and display shows song info and time <- O.K.
wait for song change
when next song plays
result: second song plays and display shows no song info but it shows the time info of the second song O.K.<- not quite O.K.
This is what I do often, listen to music, close mp to tray and surf the web with normal firefox browser. In this situation the song info in the display would be really usefull.
Probably a smaal issue as the time is displayed ok anyway.
It is here mp version 0.20 + svn 12/08/06
The display I use is Imon VFD
tomtom
P.S. when you enlarge mp from tray again the external display instantly shows the infos correct again
As promised on IRC I've taken a look at this and as I feared this bug has nothing to do with my plugin. MediaPortal does not set the the new song info when minimized to tray, so my plugin can not display it
I also noticed that the information is not always set when MP is restored.

Should be fixed in svn now (don't comment the skin layout - just some testing currently). Would be interesting if the tags work if you minimize MP while showing the "Now playing" screen. This also happens when you play with the Now Playing screen
