    Hi,
    Nope you don't need that.
Can you upload a small sample file of the .mpg to our ftp, so we can test?

Edit: Have you tried recording to .ts?

Recording as a .ts works. I have uploaded three recordings. One is of an SD channel, which works as an MPEG recording. One is of an HD channel, which fails to play correctly. The final is the working .ts recording of the same HD channel.

Am I correct in assuming that even through it records a .ts, this does not mean that it is recording all channels contained in the network transport stream? If it is recording the whole transport stream, then that will blow my HDD space pretty quickly.

    Hi,
Hehehe, yeah rec streams eat hdd space. Have tested that here sometimes & you easily get 10 gb ;)

.ts files are just another format where we can have more information, you should use that as regularly format. To dump the whole mux you need to ad a txt file @ win disk root.

I'll have a look @ the files, thanks for upping them.

    Regards

    Hi,
Tested the files you uploaded & they works here.
    Try to unregister TSFileSource (regsvr32 /u "Path_To_MP_Root\TsFileSource.ax") & make sure TsReader.ax it's registered & then test again.
If that doesn't work add a file to(like this) C:\useTsReader.txt (with nothing in it).

    Regards
    Roy
