good news! it helps: it only took 5 or 6 seconds to start the file! & as always log attached^^
the third corruption in my standard test file needed ~18 seconds the other two ~6 seconds
TsReader-2011-08-24_2.log
did the following:
1. started live Tv (MDAPI) => ejected network cable => freeze => immediately pluged the cable in again => after ~6 seconds live Tv continued
2. the same again, but this time I waited ~20 seconds before pliging the calbe in again
2. ejected the network cable => freeze => inserted smartcard into the cam => after ~6 seconds live tv continued
3. ejected card again => freeze => reinserted the card immediately => after ~6 seconds liv etv continued again
4. the same again, but this time I waited 20 seconds after the freezing before reinserting the card again => after ~6 seconds live Tv continued
5. ejected card => freeze => reinserted card into Smargo & connected network cable again => didn't started immediately, but that was a problem with ACamd and not with TsReader, after kicking the client Acamd reconnected again as it should and live Tv continued
Result: TsReader seems to be rock solid now
Should I test anything else? Or is the only difference the startup time from v9 to v10?

Just use it normally to check that I haven't broken anything else with the latest mods.
The basic problem with the 'slow startup' was that your test files have a lot of junk data at the end of the file, and TsReader parses the data (in blocks) backwards from the end of the file to work out the duration.....

Been running version 9 and 10 last 2 days and no downside seen by me, thought i would let you know, changing from original 1.2.0beta tsreader, both modified files started recorded\live tv playing faster, also was before seeing audio start first before video, which now both seem to be in sync, thought that was codec related at first, but have not changed them.
Saying above, never had the video lag start with MP1.1.3 so something else must have changed, never tried alpha so cannot say when, plus the annoying thing was it never happened every time, so now wondering if my signal is not as good as it once was, even though no corruption seen in playback.

uhhh I can't wait
had no problems with v10. I had a really really bad signal on one channel today and I had only a view freezing pictures (one second max) and continually sound

Wow, it's really amazing what you are doing.
Can you explain what you changed on the rebuilding code? I guess ,only rebuilding the necessary one (audio or video and not both), to speed up channel change?
