I've had to switch to the MPC gabest MPEG-2 decoder for LiveTV for the moment, as the Cyberlink one I was using was causing crashes.
Since switching, I haven't had any freezes, which used to happen quite a lot with the Cyberlink decoder, so maybe there's a clue there as to where the problem lies, such as the fact that the MPC decoder doesn't use DXVA (although even if I disabled DXVA with the Cyberlink decoder it still froze/crashed).
I'm using a single-seat installation by the way.
