I've changed the 60 hz to 50 hz. Which makes the red line pretty stable. But I'm still have the same issues with the picture. I'l try to deregister the MDAPI filter. And have a look see what the effect is on the one Free to air channel I have.

Well I disable the plugin. But still the same on the one FTA channel I have. I'll attach the logs to the next post.

I've tryed to catch a hiccup, it's not in the screen shot picture. But it's in the frame rate, red line. So it's still the same.

I've downloaded a demo of DBViewer and replaced the DLL provided with this application over the one installed by the mediaportal installer. It's 44 k , the old one was 32kb.
The error about the DLL has disappeared.

I have the exact same setup and problems. I was just about to change my Vertex SSD for a HDD (I see stuttering when my HDD light flashes).

Anyway, mdapifilter is the problem. Did a clean reinstall and FTA channels are playing as they should. I will try and reproduce with my CAM but I don't think this wil give any issues at all.

/edit: FireDTV + Alphacrypt IC gives me smooth playback (also Lkd: 1 continuously!).

Still working on a horrible picture. I was very happy with the result...

Steps taken: watched TV and changed channels for about half an hour with great result. Thereafter I went and did something else. When I came back about half an hour the picture was horrible again (see screenshot attached).

I now disconnected all devices I'm not using (AnySEE C30) and relocated the TV Server to the point where the cable enters the house, to get the best possible signal quality (no amplifiers etc.). I will post logs later on, I am now waiting for about half an hour after watching both HD and SD channels.

All based on a fresh TV Server install...

Well that's very strange, the logs from yesterday 12:37 are without any use of a filter. No quite a reinstall, but still the same problem.
When I hookup my cisco box, supplied by ziggo, I get 100% singnal strenght and 100% quality.

It's back to 1.1.3 for me unfortunatly. :(

I really do want the issues resolved for the release, so I'm gonna stick by 1.2b for now :D

Regarding the recording I'll check this when I come home tonight.

Cheers.

Yes its also present in recordings.

What does the lkd 1 mean ? Still have about 30 dropped frames a minute, which is watchable, but not ideal.
