    Hi again lord.warlock

If the problem also occurs when playing the recording in MP like you've said then either the recording is affected (meaning it is a TV Server side problem) or both videos and TV are affected (meaning it is a general playback problem). Do you have VLC installed? If not, please install it for testing purposes. What happens if you play the recording you made in VLC? Do other videos and old recordings play fine in MP?

If the recording plays fine in VLC then I think the next step would be to investigate your codec and renderer settings.
If the recording has the same problems in VLC and old recordings and videos play well in MP then I would strongly suspect that the issue is MDAPI like Bolk has suggested. We've already said that there is no support for MDAPI on these forums, so I'm not sure what else could be done to resolve this. I honestly know absolutely nothing about MDAPI and I've never used it, but perhaps you can upgrade to the latest version or something like that?

    mm

[Edit: on second thought, I guess there are a few other things that haven't been tried in TV Server settings like the network provider setting and using "stop graph" instead of "pause graph", however I don't *think* changing them will have any good effects since 1.1x used to work (with the same settings???). Anyhow, both of those settings are in the tuner properties (go to the tuner list, select a tuner, then click edit).]

    Hi mm135200,

I've tried change all the settings you mention, to no effect. I'm also afraid it's a MDAPI bug/problem configuration issue.
Because of the problems existing in Live TV and recording, although I've disabled the filter and the problem was still there,
but maybe only unregestering wasn't enough.

Anyway thank you all for the assistance witht trying to resolve this. I think I'll contact Bolk outside of the Mediaportal Forum, and
see if we can get to the bottom of the problem.

    Cheers.

Does this mean we should set the thread status to "no bug"? Just trying to reduce the amount of confirm threads which is a little high atm.

Tonight I'll try one more thing, that's to remove every file and option need for the MDAPI to work. If the problem is gone the problem is 100% related to MDAPI, and the thread can be marked as "no bug". Other wise we'll have to see what kind of options are available to troubleshoot the problem further.

    Hi lord.warlock

Glad to hear you managed to resolve the problem! :D
Would you mind telling us which driver you were using before and which driver you have installed now so that we can help other Terratec Cinergy PCI HD users who have problems.

    Best regards,
    mm
