Does the size (as in pixels) and quality of the logos depend on the distributed files or the theme?

all logos are 200x200 pixels. so if any particular clear logo is not squared then it will be not so nice-looking.

The plugin doesn't do any resizing - it just uses already prepared/scaled down images. So it is up to logoPack maintainer - whether he keeps aspect ratio or not
but actually all logos i have seen were scaled down using original aspect ratio.

In Titan I find e.g. the SVT HD logos or the C-more logos quite hard to distuingish even on a 50" from 2.5m distance. Also, some logos (e.g. TV6, 7, 8, 9) looks like they've been pretty badly scaled.

All logos are 200x200 pixels. I'm not sure we can do much better scaling. Here's your screenshot with the logo added, once unmodified and once scaled by GIMP. It looks a bit better than MP's scaling but not perfect..
