    Hmmm, okay thanks.
Can you think of any reason why there are two install logs with timestamps 50 seconds apart?
Usually it does not take so long to update MP and TV Server...

Well at first I stopped the service. I then started the update process, but before it was in full swing I cancelled it to check that TV service had definitely stopped. When I was satisfied with that I started the update process again.

I think it might move/backup the database or settings and then restore them. Perhaps stopping half way through messed this up. Just a guess.

Well it didn't stop half way through because the update hadn't even started. I cancelled before it started.

No idea then. I've lost count of the number of TV service updates I have done over the last couple of months, and I've never seen this problem.

Yeah, I'm out of ideas too.
Something funky definitely happened here and I doubt we'll be able to reproduce it.

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC. TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
