Why cant I choose the resolution for a video when I see/download a video from youtube?
What I can remember there was I menu coming up where I could select what resolution the video should have when I want to see/download it.
Why is that menu removed?
I found that I could select the resolution in the settings for each host like youtube, so I selected fullHD and the video I get when I choose to download a video had the resolution 640*360 and I know that the video has 1080 on youtube, why is this happening?

    Hm, that's strange.
Here I still get that resolution menu, and as far as I know nothing had changed in onlinevideos/youtube plugin..
Do you have that with all youtube videos, or just some?
And logs would help to figure out what's happening

I shall try to get some logs tonight when I'm home from work. I wonder if this can have something to do with the skin I use, I use StreamedMP? i will test with another skin tonight and see if there are any differences.

Here are some logs from when I used youtube from onlinevideos. I search for a video and then started it by select it and it did start direct without any menu to select resolution, the second video in these logs did have the resolution menu, but not the first.
Most of the video do not have the menu.
But when I use the SVT-plugin in onlinevideos I get the resolution menu.

    Anyone that have any suggestion?

The missing formats are adaptive formats, that aren't (yet) supported by onlinevideos

Edit: and if there's only one resolution (as was the case in your example) it won't show the resolution-dialog

You mean that there are only one adaptive resolution?
Because when I play those videos on youtube I can choose between different resolution.

Do you know when the adaptive format will be supported in onlinevideos?

Just took a quick look at it, and it seems that those streams do not contain any audio
And as far as I know, the mediaportal player does not allow separate audio and video urls...
So I'm not sure if this is at all doable

As a workaround, you can display a warning that the video will be downloaded, processed and shown. Yes. Not. And if Yes, download as it does for youtube-dl, and then show it from a temporary file.
