Can you try to unzip the attached bin and register the .ax ? (in elevated command prompt, just go to the extracted folder like c:\MPURL and run the following)

regsvr32 MPUrlSourceSplitter.ax

Note sure what I'm doing wrong, see screenshot and also got same result using full path, i.e. c:\MPURL\MPUrlSourceSplitter.ax

Edited this post to add the dshowhelper pdb to my own build to get the full callstack of the issue.

I have asked help from @madshi about your freeze report but it's missing callstack of other components (like splitter, mp etc.)
This is why with all above files, we should be able to have it and maybe know the cause

@Sebastiii Got the new splitter registered OK, but no change OV still hanging MP. I will add in the rest of the stuff you requested and get back to you later with the results. Just one question what do the 2 x .exe do?

It's the separate installer instead of a full one (so you need to install both) in fact the full one start both separate installer
Can you post the freeze report based on new splitter already for looking at it ?
