@swbastiii I could not do an upgrade install of v176, only offered me a fresh install on top of the Fork version, so did a sys restore back to v173, which v176 did upgrade but on startup it hangs on "Start Plugins". As far as I can tell the sys restore has not removed the new OV (still todays date) so I will reinstall the OV version from page 1 but is there anything else I need to uninstall/delete?

Ok 
To make the upgrade, you need to go to your temp folder (then mp folder and deploy) you will find extracted separate installer from V177 and then the upgrade will work
Attached is an another version of OV, i notice something that i have done on OV about put_owner and maybe it can trigger something on your config so let's see

@Sebastiii Sorry for the delay in getting back here but MP got totally screwed up, the TV Server lost the connection to MySQL and even old restores would not fix it, so ended up uninstalling MP and MYSQL and doing a clean install of v177 with the new dshowhelper and OV. As anticipated OV is failing again, the 2nd attempt to play our std. vid hung MP see the attached freeze report. Prior to that the vid played in OV but Mp crashed when I stopped it, both are covered in the 1st log attached. The 2nd log covers the TV stop problem (stopped vid remains on screen and navigation does not function). Needless to say neither problem seems to happen with EVR.
If necessary we could do a TeamViewer session some time in the week, please PM me with details.

Thanks but i'm very sorry that it didn't going well, i'm used to swap between master and fork (even with MySQL/MsSQL) without issue

i still get the damn tv problem, it freezes if i want to change station from tuner to tuner.
the funny thing is if i did a win+druck screenshot it switches the station as it should
here some old logs and some new with v176
and want to grab u some log on watchdog 1 option, guess what it works ok with it. but not in full mode (no plugin changes, since a long time) so its a bit odd too.

This is V178 with again change in shutdown (keep in mind the mediactrl stop is done on C++ side to try to avoid the deadlock for @joecrow with OV but seems to not fix it altough, it seems to not freeze anymore on my side when it was C#, but thinking of it and maybe it trigger the issue on TV stop)
After that i will be able to post a new bin that remove mediactrl stop on c++ and adding back to c# to see if it fix the issue on stop for TV.
It will be better if i was able to reproduce the issues but i don't
