[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (141 Viewers)

2D or 3D give me same results, black screen with a madVR crash if I try to close it with alt + ctrl + del

Ok fixed it by using DXVA CB instead of DXVA Native.

The OSD issue remains, I noticed that if I spam the button sometimes it will show up, but it will disappear really fast.

Installed a stock 1.5.0 and configured it, all worked well.
Installed using the link provided and told it a fresh install.

Checked my configs and turned on madVR.
Started 1 TV channel

The error is normal it happen most of the time on MP close, i have added a log error for it but maybe i should hide it now in fact it was just information

Party was great... about 60 people, lots of great food and drink.

As for this install, every time I start TV and go to the first channel I get the following

It comes from madVR install itself, did you register it with admin right ?

right click on install.bat : (run as admin)

Maybe I missed something... I installed this version.

Can you try first this one (based on V183) ?

I did try it and the OSD issue is still there.

Let me describe it a little bit better.

When I start a 2D movie the tv is changing Hz and the movie starts. If I press PAUSE then I see the pause OSD on top of the video and this is all good till here. I know that the movie has 4 subtitles, so I press the subtitle selection button and what happens is the following: subtitles change but the OSD that shows which language I selected sometimes doesn't show up at all and sometimes it will flash for 1 second and then disappear.

Same thing is happening with audio selection.

This is issue no.1

Issue no.2 is that i see now that u changed a bit the way 3D window is presented within MP. Maybe i am wrong but i think u set as owner of the 3D window MP itself, as a result we got the following issue: when we start 3D the screen 1st switches Hz and then switches to 3D over windows API which is all good till here, but when we stop 3D the following issue happens the Tv will switch back to non 3D over windows API but the Hz will never revert back to the previous one. So in other words:
Windows default 50Hz--->Start 23.976 video--->Screen Blinks TV and switches to 23:976--->TV blinks 2nd time and witches to 3D. And then on stop: Stop--->TV blinks and switches off 3D and after that TV doesn't blink again and still remains @ 23.976 Hz but the video is stopped and i am already in MP Main Menu. Now comes the strange part, sometimes if i close MP after that TV will blink and switch to 50Hz. So somehow madVR wont revert back to default Hz if u just close the madvr instance but will wait till u close MP.

This is why i think it has to do something with the owner of the instance, maybe i am wrong.

I did now...
Cleared up those errors... TV looks great, channel changes are nice.

Just some further feedback on v181:-
On my desktop no problem with TV, though in OV it also crashes MP 100% (MP stopped working message) on stopping a vid. Same as HTPC.
I tried on my HTPC with option 1 from watchdog and TV then works OK, no stuck screen on stop, but despite disabling all my plugins in std mode it still fails. Also fails with Titan skin in std. mode.
Am I missing anything that I could disable for troubleshooting??????

Will it do any good to try v183??
