Another test to do

From Myvideo with a share connected to your .ts or recording folder.

Can you try these step by step ?

Start video .TS sample -> it goes to fullscreen etc.
'X' Key to reduce the video from fullscreen to windowed
While the video continue to play, select again the .TS sample
'X' Key to reduce the video from fullscreen to windowed
While the video continue to play, select again the .TS sample
etc. (must be done in loop)

Does it trigger the same issue on your side ? (GP

at the moment i can't change anything on tvserver, but i will do soon , even i know my pvr card become instable if i use stop instead of pause...so i'm not sure if i could test well this case.

Another odd thing is related to deinterlacing that is not working (i mean lav dxva it is ignored when i use madvr in MP) ...and gpu load that is really too high.

I'll post alter if i can do something

MP use more memory than MPC-HC (OSD stuff etc.)
About the deinterlacing, i have no clue (maybe it's disable on purpose but i don't know)
About GPU it can be DXVA issue and also related to MP OSD

I think you already compare when using EVR right ?

V34 running nicely here, only thing I noticed is that with "Exclusive fullscreen" disabled in madVR settings (latest build) it won't enable smoothing even if that is setup correctly there:

Same with exclusive mode on, gonna revert to previous madVR build and double check.

You mean this enable it doesn't work ? (with Exclusive option off too)
I didn't change anything for this, so it's weird lol

I hope it will solve the crash on stop/zap channel from different TVCard.

Sorry not for me

I started MP, changed between BBC1HD and Quest repeatedly. After about 7-8 changes, the screen stayed in top corner and MP reported a message 'unable to play ts9.0' (can't remember number). After confirming the message it returned to MP guide, I started BBC1HD which worked, but on flicking to Quest MP returned to guide with the revolving whatsit and needed killing with task manager. Logs attached.

What did you do on ZAP channel change ?
I mean, can you explain me the step by step
Did you use context menu and TVGuide and select the channel ?
Maybe some screenshot (F11 key) is welcome, just to be sure that i'm doing the same.

I think you already compare when using EVR right ?

using EVR gpu load for Hd channels (from PVR @13 Mb/s) is always under 25% and memory under 800MB.

i've tried to start a recording .ts file (hd h264 @13 Mb/s), from myvideos

play ok, Gpu load 50/60% gpu memory 860

pressed x , clik on the same video

play ok , GPU load 100% gp u memory 1100

pressed x , click on the same video

play started ok, GPU load 100% gpu memory 1370

then freeze while playing ...needed to kill mp
