Thanks joecrow. With standard madvr settings also tend often to crash on stop, see log.

So for my AMD RX 460, besides the slow stop, the options in screenshot are the best, and i also realize the flickering of gui. I will test GPU Queue Size with a value of 4, with a value of 6 i had less flickering as with 8, but it is not gone. All options are tested without checkboxes checked at madvr section in Mediaportal config.

With the madvr Setting Reduce madvr frame and a value of 2 in Mediaportal, i dont have flickering without changing madvr options.

Update: GPU Queue Size 4 brings slow motion picture. So back on 6 with a bit flickering for now.

I would really love that @joecrow and @GeYe post me their VGA models, not only the chip itself. I would prefer a link to the manufacturer webpage.

    Perfect @GeYe.

@joecrow could you please also post a GPU-Z screenshot.
    --- Post updated ---
My cuurent theory regarding OSD flashing is connected to the GPU Memory, watching at @GeYe screenshot I realize that his GPU has 4GB VRAM and I really do not understand why reducing GPU Queue Size has an effect on his system, i am not sure but i think GPU-Z has a VRAM sensor. Could u guys run that while having MP in windowed mode and check how much VRAM is MP using while u are in TVS or OV?

Also could u report which skin u are using with MP?

@Sebastiii as per my PM to u, i suspect GPU is running out of VRAM when too many things are loaded to it, when u reduce GPU Queue Size you essentially prevent MadVR from buffering more video frames to the GPU VRAM, When u 1st started working on the issue with TV Guide flashing OSD u had to remove some elements, this theory explains why, u had to remove these elements and as a result this was freeing up VRAM, ur option that is reducing OSD frames to 2 is also doing exactly that.

What i don't understand is why a 4GB VRAM GPU is unable to handle all this, my only explanation would be that GeYe is running either a 4K resolution (higher OSD/Video resolution will result in higher amounts of VRAM) or he is using a skin that has lots of elements that also result in more VRAM usage or of course a combination of those.

Of course i could be totally wrong with my theory, it wouldn't be the 1st time for me :)

Having said all that, if u want to test out this theory, i would let GPU Queue Size at its default (8) and then reduce screen resolution (only if u are now using 4K), i would also try a different skin. While doing all tat keep a track of GPU-Z VRAM sensor, if u still get flashing then reduce the Queue size to 4 and see if this time it will have a direct effect on the VRAM.

I use Titan, pretty standard. I run 4k resolution yes and so far i can see no problems with 4k material and 3D MVC. GPU Memory Usage i will post, if i have a bit time.

I am using Default Wide HD no 4K, just an HD TV, 3D other than the stuck 23hz issue is also problem free. Peak weekend viewing has begun, not much chance now to play before Monday.;)
@GeYe Where did you get the Catalyst drivers for the RX 460?
