OK using v317 from the first post and madvr 0.91 TV, HD, SD and Elysium vids all play fine also no problems with OV, TV zapping also looks good, 3D not possible on my Desktop hardware but will try tomorrow on my HTPC. Same also all good with Madvr v 0.92.
UNTIL I changed the "Hardware Decoder to use" in LAV from DXAV2 Copy-Back to NVIDIA CLUVID*, see 1st attached screenshot, thereafter whenever I played a video that required upscaling (less that 1080x1920) I got a blackscreen with audio, pressing stop stopped the audio and returned to the previous screen but then MP was then hung and I had to use Task Manager to kill it. I checked the upscaling setting in Madvr and found if I used anything other than NED13, settings as shown in the 2nd screenshot, the problem did not occur. I seem to recall from the release notes of an earlier version of Madvr that there is some restriction with NED13 but can no longer find it, so maybe that is the cause. Just a little worried that with the blackscreen and audio playing I could still go into Madvr setting and change things, so it had not crashed or hung but after hitting stop it was MP that hanged.
The attached logs cover a single hang incident.
*Preferred setting as it fixes this.
