In your log :
Main: MediaPortal v1.18.0.1213 is starting up on Windows 10 Professional x64 [10.0.16299.0]

In mine :
Main: MediaPortal v1.18.0.1225 is starting up on Windows 10 Professional x64 [10.0.17063.0]

So somehow not in latest commit, you are sure that you used the latest installer ? (tested my posted link and it's not the latest, so i need to figure out why BOT didn't build the latest source)
In any case, i attach mine (the one i have build on my PC)

That one fixed it. Screen goes completely black untill playback starts and then remote works on DVD menu.

This caught me out too.. was about to complain that the strange guide problem was back

changing the frequency with madvr is working properly. Coming back from stand by is sometimes a problem and switching on my AV receiver is causing always a black screen.

Do you need logs?

Hi yes log are always good to have to see if we can spot something try with watchdog tool the first options thanks.

Good Morning,
yesterday I tested madVR with my 1.17 final and everything worked well. I updated now on your version and unfortunately MP crashes when starting a mkv. I attached the log.

Strange logs are from 1213 version but crash is 1225 lol, so not sure what happen here
maybe the upgrade didn't go very well.

Can you try again a watchdog logs ? (can you remove log before trying ? (in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log)

Also after starting MP, can you try before playing a video to look if the sound works (+ and - key from keyboard or remote) thanks

Hi guys,

maybe a little bit off topic but does someone know if i can tell madvr to use a certain 3Dlut when a file is played in 3D?

For example:

if (filePath = "\\homediskstation\video\HighDefinition3D\*") "3D"

Unfortunately this is not working for .iso cause they are played from a virtual disc drive
