[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (6 Viewers)

I must agree with you azzuro, I can't play video files in pictures section when using madvr as renderer.

I tried playing the same 84-second video in Pictures and Videos and compare the debug but I don't know enough to work it out.
In MediaPortal.log in Videos there's an additional line [DEBUG] - VMR9Helper: Playing -> Repainting, Frames 50 absent in Pictures playback

In Pictures, 8 ms after the line [DEBUG] - Main: recreate swap chain for madVR done it says [DEBUG] - g_Player.doStop() keepTimeShifting = False keepExclusiveModeOn = False and it stops, whereas in Videos it continues with [DEBUG] - g_Player: ShowFullScreenWindow and [INFO ] - g_Player: ShowFullScreenWindow switching to fullscreen video

In mad.log, there's a line MPMadPresenter:: SetMadVrPaused() run that appears at the start of playback in Videos, but after the stop event in Pictures.

Guys, I have done a quick test on my fork and it seems to works, can someone can try it?
If it works for you too, that means that I have done a fix for it but not in current MP version and if it doesn't work then I will try to see why or either doesn't use madVR for mypicture and use the switch like for TV

Yep, if you can provide the same checkbox than tv evr, will be great.
For me use madvr for video camera is not needed, but we can leave the choice to user.

I'm again in troubles, don't know since when, but now when i start tv and then go fullscreen the presenter queue remains 2/2 also in fullscreen.
In the past as soon as i start tv (from the MP tv page) the tv is displayed in the little box and the presenter is 2/2, in the past when i was going fullscreen the presenter queue became as configured 8/8.....

In videos and recorded tv presenter is ok

Maybe there's a GUI element being active permanently even in fullscreen? Something transparent that isn't showing?
Have you tried with another skin or with disabling some plugins?

@mrmojo666 you can maybe try the option below (disable low latency) to see how it goes too

Thank you guys,

this morning I tried to start MP from watchdog link to get clean logs.
And i couldn't reproduce the issue with standard settings (Titan skin , no plugins etc). so i went to run Mp as usual (streamedmp skin, plugins etc) and i got presenter going ok also.
Uhm...... that's crazy, i was struggling from weeks and i had to switch off madvr for tv......
now I re-activated madvr for tv, i will see if it happens again.
Thank you for the support (i feel dumb now, it was messy for weeks and now that i have some time to investigate it works ok again.)

I'll come back in case.

In my lunchbreak I've tested again and i can'5 reproduce the issue. That's good.
I would try your tip regarding disable low latency mode.
Wow it is brilliant!! No more ui flickering at all plus it reduced a bit rendering time and big improvement in presenter time, now it is always 0. Something instead of 1or2 . Something.
I have not tried that option in the past because it says it can create ui flickering, but on my system it is exactly the opposite.
