Hey

To be able to merge madVR branch to master, i need to remove TsReader MOD and MPAR Update from madVR branch.
So i will put a new installer in first post based on this, but i will upload to the first post TsReader MOD and MPAR update into a ZIP file.

If we don't use TsReader MOD and MPAR update, we will run into DXVA issue for TV and OV deadlock.

Hey guys,

some news from my side in regards to 3D blackscreen on "stop". Yesterday i`watched Arlo&Spot in 3D (btw amazing picture quality) and let the movie run till the complete end of the film.
And MP returned without a blackscreen... so i guess its really only about pressing the stop button when watching a 3D movie which causes a blackscreen.

Sorry for my late reply... please see my latest post as well.
I will provide you with the logs as soon as possible! As i have turned of GUI sounds now i am no more sure But i think it is responsive as i could here the sounds prior to disabling them!
Did not try CTRL-Alt-Delete so far but will do.

Some test with 210

Blank screen on zap from sd to HD same card at 1254. Blank screen with audio play not recovered by ALT TAB change


I had some MP crash on previous days
3D played fine on first 2 videos withoud 3D trick active
@ 1259 3D video blank screen on Jurasic world play.

zap times not good, not bad

logs ¨for todays test.

logs for pervious day correspond to zap MP crash (no freeze) at the time of log collection

Freeze reports seems to not showing a real freeze that can be good but still need to know what happen.
I have see one crash related to WIFIREMOTE lol.

Ill try to collect more info and report. Will clean other soft just in case.
My most common problem on 210 is blank screen, but some times on video stop I see a upper left corner video image very briefly so seems something is on top of video. This 'something' looks a dark color layer winch is not black but a very dark colour.
Hope this info plus logs help.
Every time this blank screen happens, I'm able to bring startmenu on top of MP and use computer. Also ALT TAB changes mp size but doesn't solve problem. Audio always plays.
Some time MP is responsible to STOP button on remote, some times no. After a channel is shown blank, most probable ALL rest channels will go blank and MP needs to restart to recover normal function.

Last, thing;I tried MP Madvr Exclusive mode but many times on zap I see Windowed mode first and the Exclusive, even if windowed is disabled.

From your logs, even doing stop (remote etc.) madVR continue to try to render maybe i can improve something on this but like i can't reproduce, i will surely need you to test different bin
Does it happen with V211 ? be sure to remove .ax before upgrade to be able to correctly overwrite from installer

I really need to look why .ax is not replaced, it seems that i have seen something in NSIS installer that could be the root of cause but i'm not sure @ 100%.

For sure TsReader.ax but better to remove all .ax, like this the installer will recopied correctly the needed files
