hi, THanks for testing you both.
I have this issue still. Here is the the debug log.
I see this behaviour with any movie. 2d. Havent tested in 3d yet, but my bet is that its there as well.

just tried to grab screenshots. F11 gives me black screens.

Yep black screenshot is because of either DX11 or New presentation device option
We can only grab it with DX9.

With this it should works :

So either you hit X key pressed lol or it's something else or XySubfilter trigger something but it's not correct to see that
Maybe a setting impact it or something else but for sure those log lead to stuttering etc.

I have all those settings. same results.
I have reset XYsubfilter settings in MP. same result.

upon playback> pres X full to miniview. I see playback returning back to smooth.. (weird thing though... subtitle is below the miniview)
press X again... judder..

Im doing a rollback on MP to 1.16 final to be sure.

the log is flooded with these window change entries ~15000 lines in two minutes
u use any zooming/scaling or something similar? and btw. windows scaling seems set to 150% dpi, on purpose?

not that i am aware of. noticed that too . so I checked. this is what I see.





I use "Mouse without borders" to controle PC with laptop. Ill try to ditch that one and see if it helps.


BTW>.. rollback to 1.16 did nothing. Same issue. Ill report back later on the mouse controle thingy

naaah.. Mouse without borders killed doesnt help either.
Im at a loss. Good thing is when using MPC-HC subtitles, the issue is gone..

Anyway: I think its never wise to pull out mainbord,cpu and gpu... replace with new mainbord/cpu (onboard gpu) and expect things to work smooth without reinstall... I was amazed windows just rebooted and worked without much fuzz... guess it was too good to be true.

I'll do a reinstall of windows / MP tonight.

strange indeed but meaningless without a stats screenshot

edit: before u kill the pc try this:
if u havent done use ddu to uninstall the old gpu drivers from save mode
reset madVR to default settings.
set chroma scaler to bilinear
set image scaler to bilinear
and post a screen from the osd

yep something isnt quite right from your mpc shot, try reset madVR to default settings
and u may use a hidden option to see each step of the rendertimes with madvr, just drop the dummy file in your madvr install directory

Ok, Added showrendersteps to the mix. and here is the result.

I set MadVR to default again. Setup TV for all accepted resolutions again.. > pressed OK and got out of MadVR settings. NOthing else changed.
