    Not exactly.
All menu screens flicker, even when video is not playing. Examples are EPG screen, or TV/Recorded programs.
During playback, it's acceptable. Seeking is slower when using madVR, but otherwise quite okay.
What I can't recall by heart right now is, whether flickering appears before watching something. I am sure it's there after stopping liveTV or some recording.
I will gather logs as soon as I can.

I have try to use again my HD4000 and EPG is flickering and to reduce near to Zero, i have set like this :

@Kotik :) i have set the latest madVR version and with DX11 or without, flickering was present (until i change to above option) so maybe the Intel fix is for recent Intel GPU lol.

    seb,
    found 1 thing.
With internal subs, there is no issue with XYSubs.. External there is. See mediainfo.txt for corresponding episodes.

    external: Lucifer S02E17

IN this version, and previous version, there is a skin issue ( I think skin related) with pressing X and go to mini view. Subtitles are NOT inside the video anymore :ROFLMAO:

    Thanks :)
So it confirm that it's the video resize (i mean the one logged that trigger the issue).
It seems to be an issue with madVR vs XySubFilter but i can't really compare.

Need to look if i can make the subs displayed on mini window.
Ofc we need regression testing when put MP out of fullscreen (alt+enter) and/or mini MP windows altGR+Enter, seems ok from my own testing but sometimes i need to do a X key to have the OSD displayed correctly lol.

    @edterbak :)
Can you try this one ?
Not sure about the change but i have noticed one thing, the subtitle are displayed on my side but under the video and surely dependent of subtitle, it's more or less visible lol.

I have try to use again my HD4000 and EPG is flickering and to reduce near to Zero, i have set like this

Frankly, I am unsure of where to dig. My findings:

    - Hardware: HD4600, with a smaller monitor as primary screen + FullHD TV as secondary screen
    - Flickering is only happening on Screen 2. Screen 1 is perfect.
    - HD4600's handling of the second screen is fishy. If I have MP occupy the whole Screen 2 (in Exclusive mode), and there's another program which underlaps MP's surface, my CPU rises. If such offending program is moved so that it does not occupy any space on Screen 2, then CPU load goes back to normal.
    - The flickering/stuttering during menu screens only happens when the menu screen is redrawn. When a mostly static screen (like the Main Menu of MP) is shown, flickerng is seldom. When the screen is redrawn often (such as EPG screen), flickering is more frequent.
    - The flickering actually means that the background of the active skin is drawn first (say, "rainbow" pattern of Titan skin), which is visible in its bareness for a brief moment. At the next screen refresh, the menus are drawn over the background. The quick changing of these two are the cause of the flicker. BTW, to my best knowledge, madVR is not even used during the displaying of such menu screens.

Overall, I am getting hesitant to blame madVR for this. The reason I still do is, because it all started when madVR was installed. The very same config ran without a single flicker for many months before.

    again
nothing playing -> madvr is not used
some video playing -> madvr is used

did you mean, that it with EVR renderer it's also flickering since then???
