Was in my theory too.
But the changelog seems to have the good date..
Try to rename this madvr folder and start to play. If error it's the good folder.

hi guys, just shortly^^
if ya install fresh again, ya wouldnt get a settings.bin... the config must be opend/altered and saved once... and madvr additionally save the setting in the registry (HKCU\Software\madshi\madVR\Settings)

@bilis4 please make a new log and please always use the same settings... because its damn hard to follow you if ya once say ya use dxva native but did a screen on c-b.... btw. have ya thought about going back to win 1703^^

only tried screenshot on insider on maddefault settings shortly yesterday .. u aware it will end in maderror too? just in case see attached

Same here on my Desktop PC, just updated to 0,92.9 but still no settings.bin. Checked on my HTPC and there I do have it, Curiouser and curiouser.

Thanks @daWooky i didn't see an madVR error on my side but it can happen like you are experiencing .
I have seen something else when grabbring frame (Auto3D), if i close MP (close not doing stop) an madVR error can be displayed and closed itself, so the grab part code need some tweak. In fact it try to get frame while madVR is already released lol

It seems to be what explain @daWooky we need to do something in settings from madVR control tool to have it generated (at least this happen here)

i don't know why it's seems baseclass have issue. maybe teamcity and IRC use the same local folder for build, and i see @high working on teamcity
