i don't know why it's seems baseclass have issue. maybe teamcity and IRC use the same local folder for build, and i see @high working on teamcity

if ya install fresh again, ya wouldnt get a settings.bin... the config must be opend/altered and saved once... and madvr additionally save the setting in the registry (HKCU\Software\madshi\madVR\Settings)

Did that but must be more to it, still no Settings.bin, see attached screenshot. Also old version underwent many changes of config. without a settings.bin ever appearing.


UPDATE:- Could it be something to do with my Desktop PC having multiaccounts, bearing in mind that each account can and does have different settings in Madvr. i.e. changing the settings in one account does not chage them in the others.

Have you checked dir rights? madVR wont error if it can't write, will just use reg settings.

@bilis4 please make a new log and please always use the same settings... because its damn hard to follow you if ya once say ya use dxva native but did a screen on c-b.... btw. have ya thought about going back to win 1703^^

Will make new logs later. Htpc is now in use. BTW i didn't recall saying that i am on DXVA native(Although i have trying everything). i will plan to change graphics drivers and finally i will revert to 1703

@kenwonders Yep that was it, moved Madvr to a non-system area (was in c:\Program Files) and sure enough the settings.bin appears after Madvr config. changes were made.

i also moved Madvr Dir and settings.bin appeared.
