I'm having the same problem with timeshifting as you are, SciDoctor. Everything works for awhile, then I get a lock up that requires me to kill the MP process with the same "pin not connected" and "waiting for vmr9" errors in the log. I noticed that today's SVN supposedly addresses the pin not connected issue, so I'm looking forward to getting home and trying it out.
