Damn, lot of small fonts still in use. I guess I'll have to start a donation thread so that I can by a new LCD TV (or hold back few fixes until someone either fixes the fonts or sends me a new tv ).

The only font that is even to small for my glassed eyes is the info text in the tvosd. That will be fixed for sure.

Btw what size Tv do you actually have

32" with 4,5 meters viewing distance. Cannot move the sofa any closer as the 100" beamer screen gets too close (but as you guess the TV is the main viewing source for music, normal tv programs etc).

If you got to a shop these days and buy a new TV, then you should get asked for your normal viewing distance.
If you say "4-5meters", then the salesman should not even show you an 32" LCD, because it is way too small.

Problem is that ~2-3 years back, 32" was the most common size for LCD's because everything bigger was too expensive.
In the case of this skin and the fontsize, i can only say that the "big" sized fonts of StreamedMP were quite readable on my old 32" LCD (running at 720p) from a viewingdistance of 4meters.

Does Youtube.fm have any advantages over Onlinevideos? If so, I'm sure we can add support for this plugin - but main focus is still on the core-functions of the skin.

Something dedicated for watching music videos only. (only searches for mvids and has fanart support)

Do you want bug reports from testing to be posted in this thread? It's looking great, but there are a few (relatively minor) issues.

How did you check out or whatever to get the whole skin-Tree downloaded?

I used TortoiseSVN and tried to check-out with the path http://mxxx-blxx.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
and it didn't work.

Please could you help here, thanks.

Because of the premature getting out of our skin (due to too obvious hints ) we moved the skin to someplace else

But tonight we will pm the selected testers.

Hi Joostzilla,

Did you guys think of a name for this skin ? If I may give you an idea, I thought about naming it "ANSSA". They are the initials of this thread: A New Simple Skin, with an "A" added to the end. It is a short name and also catchy. Just my oppinion...
