I have just sent a PM to some of the volunteers that wanted to test the skin. We limited the number of testers, as the three of us all have to do the work besides real life jobs and/or children, and therefore have limited possibilities to respond to feedback (no matter how much we appreciate it!)

If you didn't get a PM, don't worry, as we get closer to release we will accept feedback on a large scale

Our target is still to finish it at same time or before MP 1.1.0 final.

Guess im too late to test this but if you need another tester ill be testing on a HTPC 42" 1080p from 4m away?

Also would love to see any screenshots of the working skin showing the rounded corners. That was always one of the things missing from Media Portal than XBMC did so well. If you guys can pull this off it will be awesome.

I know it's maybe to early for requests, but please, have in mind people with lots of channels and us that love mini epg and put an option in as an alternative for a layout with more channels showing in miniepg. just as an option, or details how to do it myself when you release the skin, thanks..

actually i do have "a lot" channels and i love that smaller miniepg because it looks a lot better when using it.

I agree that it looks better, but for me miniepg serves as a quick look at what shows are airing in that moment. Going up and down trough my list of let's say 30 channels while looking at only 3 at a time is not fun.. for me.. that's why maybe it could be an option?
Once again, I agree it looks great, but I want it to serve a purpose too

i had the same concern before i used it.

But i can understand your point of view and i am sure that there are others which would like a larger miniepg.

Like me Full EPG is really bad when you want to have a quick look what is ongoing currently in the TV. Same goes for a small mini EPG with only three channels visible at the same time. Both aren't as user friendly as a big, good list showing bigger amount of channels (with only the running programs to minimize the amount of work you need to do, as we all aren't plagued with the 30 min program schedules that USA has ). After all, you open the mini EPG to change a channel, so it is not mandatory to see the running live tv in the background. Usability first then the nice appearance that looks nice on the screen shots.

I will design a 'big' minitvguide so users can choose.
And yes that one will also look good in screenshots.
