This skin was initially intended for personal use only. As my own skin project for the next months. But I think it would be great to share it.
I aready have an offer from a fellow MP-user to help me with the xmls.
So I hope it will be available in the near future.

Very smart looking.

I would like to see this extended to 4x3 as well. I had also entertained the idea of centering the action menus... and still may.

Sometimes simple is good.

Looks nice and clean with a touch of VMC but not too much, and I like the OSD-part and the now playing a lot. I would be glad to give a hand with some of the XML, but since this is also a designprocess I either need some fake screenshots (muckups) or a really detailed plan (I prefer the first!). Do you have all the basic graphics sorted out?

I am not a fan of b3w and mepo either. So I designed my own skin based on b2w and a couple of other inspiring sources
Here are some screens from photoshop. I am still designing and putting it all to xml.
I wanted to create a skin that does not rely on fan art and is easy on the eye and great for daily family use. And I designed a new MP logo.
I am quite pleased with it because it meets my personal demands.

I do believe this is a mock up in something like photoshop, so until its got xml sorted it wont be released, pity really as I was looking all over for a download link

Here is my own mockup using abode fireworks. Yes its highjack of the thread, but it will take me a while to get anything on show.

My mock up is basically a mix of parts from popular skins (menu blade from StreamedMP, top header bar from AeonStark). This is by no means a finished draft.

The covers are masked out (reflection included) with a part of the background. So its little bit of a trick.

Currently I am talking to 2 respectable members of the mp community about the xml part of the skin. I can do it all by myself but then the skin will not be released at all because i am a lousy programmer. So I hope to team up with ncoH and/or PileHave (or someone else who wants to join forces) to make this skin happen. Time will tell.

Best way to start always is to take i.e. Blue3wide and start to modify screen by screen (gfx and xml's).

That way you will convert it step by step to the skin you want to create.
I think that noone starts a skin from scratch (just in case that this is what you thought )
