    hi,

i had the same problem with the black bar after upgrading the plugin. the following steps helped me to get it working:

    - update maya basichome plugin
    - open mp-configuration
    - enable the rss-feeds in infoservice-plugin and maya-plugin
    - save and close mp configuration
    - open mp-configuration
    - disable the rss-feeds only in the maya-plugin, leave it enabled in the infoservice plugin
    - save and close mp configuration

after this steps the black bar is gone :)

    nicx...
    Hey,

Unfortunatly this doesn't work for me - Vista x64.

    ---

On another note. May these lines be added to TVSeries.SkinSettings.xml (see attatchment)? It will add DVD- and Bluray logos to MPTVSeries. I also included a line to add subtitle logos (if it's created in the future).

I just copied some lines from streamedMPs TVSkinsetting and made them compatible with Maya, then tested it and it works great.

    AW: Maya: Beta release 06-02-10

Was bringt x-factor mit, was beim Maya fehlt...

Hello. First of all, thank you for this beatiful skin.
But i'm having troubles with my remote with this skin. In the beginning (days) the remote is fine, but after a while the remote is only responding on a couple of commands (up down, left and right). Nothing els works. I have 2 MCE remotes (MCE and harmony).
With the other skins i do not have this problem.
I'm using 1.1 beta with the latest svn build.

Excuse the Post from luckys in German. He has no english skills. I´m his Mate so i´ll post for him (an me too) ;-)

First your Maya Skin is a Jewel between the other overloaded an overcolored skins. So keep on rockin´and we hope that Maya maybe bekome a MP Standard skin.
But we (luckys & me) have a problem (and a worse workaround) with the Maya skin.

In Basic Home screen (weather & rss) and in Weather screen you dont´t see the Values and you don´t see the Weather Icons. You only see the XML-variables for that like "#maya.infoservice.weather.temp" or something.

We´ve tested it on XP SP3 Pro, Win7 32 & 64, with MP 1.0.2, 1.1.0 BETA, 1.1.0 RC1... in all combinations and on 5 different machines an in VM. Everytime the same issue... Only on one PC it worked well and first we didn´t know why. First we thougt that it was a problem with the infoservice.dll. We´ve tried serveral versions but it doesn´t work for us.

But now we do!!! Not why but how to fix it. May it be that you all have the skin Xfactor installed?
It worked on one machine because Xfactor skin was installed. On the other machines we´ve done a clean install with maya only.

So we installed Xfactor on the other machine and BOING.... it worked!!! So what does Xfactor what Maya doesn´t?! Maybe because Xfactor install a "infoservice.dll" in "Plugins/windows" and not in "plugins/process"?

I dont know and at the moment no time to check this but maybe you can have a look.

best regards & sorry for my "rusty" english

Same here. Occurs randomly :/ When it occurs the back, home, and tv recordings, epg, live tv, dvd menu buttons don't work. I had a look into the error.log and found a exception in the maya basichome plugin. Don't know which one it was right know (no log with that error at the moment). This happen to me since the RC1 of MP. With the older SVNs it worked without problems.

@highcoder: The infoservice.dll belongs to the window folder. Don't put it into the process folder and be sure that only one infoservice.dll is used (that one in the window folder)!

I had the same problem yesterday: See https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...1-2010-planning-60206/index47.html#post582372

for the record, i'm using MediaPortal 1.1 beta with the latest SVN.
I tried the 1.1 RC, but i get alot of black screens playing movies. Only sound. So i went back to 1.1 beta (with Acronis image).
