I'm now torn between the simplicity of this skin, and the fact I like having fanart to make it look snazzy...

but i agree that this should be included as the main skin for MP.

And since this skin is aimed at the new MP 1.1.0 we still take our time to implement as much new features (and some really, really, really new) as possible. Just to push the envelop.

EDIT: One thing i noticed was "Batman Dark Knight", shouldn't they be separated with a - or a : like "Batman: Dark Knight"?

EDIT2: I think the font size seems perfect, but i'm on a 52" at about 3-3,5 meters distance =)

am I missing something here? Yes, the screenshots look amazing, but has somebody actually tried it?? is there any kind of beta available???

if that's the case, I really really fail to understand how someone can vote/suggest this be the default skin for anything? it's almost like seeing a screengrab of vista and saying every single pc should have that OS installed

It's a way to express you're enthousiasm about this skin. And enthousiasm is good to motivate the developers to make it look as good as the screenshots from the OP.

At this point? 1.1.0 is aready entering RC stage and the skin hasn't even reached an alpha status

Well, I agree about the font size if someone donates enough money to buy a bigger tv (also too small font size will make it impossible to use some skin as a default skin for MP release. Having too big font(s) is not as bad thing as too small as you can still use a skin with too big fonts but using a skin that contains text you cannot read is not just possible).
