i even manually edited the mayaskin.xml, but unfortunately the skin ignores it's settings - so the problem not only relates to the configuration tool, but rests somewhere deeper. no maya skin for me right now

hi guys!

i have a problem with maya 1.1.0.745 and mepo 1.2.0 beta - i get this error message when i enter the maya configuration screen:

when i confirm this message, it opens the configuration screen with all options empty - this happens all the time.

Hi Blubserl, did you have any luck getting the configuration screen to work?

I have the sam issue. I've tried deleting the skin, the cache and any other Maya relayed XML files and reinstalling the skin but still get the same error. I also tried the Maya BasicHome file provided on here and that didn't work either.

I upgraded to mp 1.2 rather than doing a fresh install and I wonder if that is part of the problem. Am thinking of deleting and reinstalling mp to see if that gets round it but I'd rather fix it if I can than go through that hassle.

Any tips?

unfortunately not i also still hope for a solution without reinstalling mp, since everything else works really good now. but i guess the maya team is currently busy with the avalon skin development.

Thanks for letting me know, Maya still works for me as it picks up the old basichome configuration from mp 1.1.3, just means I can't change any settings at the moment. Ho hum.

Just tried a fresh reinstall of MP to see if that fixed it, still get the same error trying to launch the config

please copy this file in MediaPortal Folder.

this file is installed by TVSeries Plugin and not a Skin Problem.
