I uninstalled, then reinstalled MayaHD, added the MayaHDskin.xml back to get my sorted menu and submenues. Now all the submenues show up as they should, and each submenu item could be focused.

Are you referring to the MayaHDskin.xml provided by dlarge500 or one with your own menu choices?

normaly you made your own MayaHDSkin.xml, i will in the next beta inside a basic xml file.

I used the one dlarge500 provided (it was close to mine) and edited it to change the sort and added/changed menu and submenu items, once I saw the submenues working.

** also, just a note, I think more length should be added to the submenu labels, long names fade out at the end and look ugly.

and could there be 7 items shown in the main menu list, as an option?

Just pulling straws ... I uninstalled MayaHD using the MP Extension Installer, but I also had Maya installed, so I removed that as well (just in the odd chance that there was some conflict), and cleared my cache before re-installing MayaHD. I added back the MayaHDSkin.xml, then I ran MP Config to configure the skin.

Removed all traces of Maya from my system(I suspect that the process plugin stopped MayaHD from working), reinstalled MayaHD with dlarge500's xml and now everything works!

Until I try to add new Basic Home items or remove submenu ones that is. I can rename items or add new items to submenus that are already there, but I can't remove submenu items.
