I cleared my cache, copied new xml over old. Problem is the same (scratching head)

A similar skin editor is in Avallonis and I had no problems adding the same menu and submenu items there.

I have made a new MayaSkin.xml from your basicfile with many Entrys and Submenupoints, please add this file and clear the cache and test this.

Testing...

Going down until the menu loops:

TV-series - Submenu doesn't work at first, second time/loop it worked - latest added works
Movies - works
Music - two top items work - latest added can't be selected
News - no submenu first try, worked second time though but only top item
Sysinfo - can't go down from top item in submenu
Videos - no sub
tv - no sub

During my testing the menu got "stuck" on the news item. Bringing up the exit menu got it working again. It's all very much hit and miss at the moment.

I'm using the extentions plugin by ducus, I did not change anything.
The duplicate entries seem to be attempts to update the entry to another spelling using the update button.

I never saw the duplicate entries because the submenus did not work all the time. I do not have that xml any more (overwritten)

Using your dnloaded xml now.

First time through main menu:
TV no submenu
TV Series ... 3 items, cannot move down from first item
Movies no submenu
Videos no submenu
News no submenu
SysInfo no submenu
Music no submenu

second time around:
TV ... 4 items, cannot move down from first item
TV Series no submenu
Movies no submenu
Videos no sub menu
News no submenu
SysInfo no submenu
Music ... 4 items, cannot move down from first item

third time around:
TV no submenu
TV Series no submenu
Movies no submenu
Videos no sub menu
News no submenu
SysInfo no submenu
Music no submenu

So you can see, it's not working yet for me

after you replaced your Mayaskin.xml you must open the MayaHD plugin and push the save button, have you made this?

do you use a Mepo svn or modified core.dll? this is the only way for this probs, sorry. i have 3 Machines and i have 3 other configs and no problems as you.

I did, in fact, open the MayaHD plugin, add LastFM to my Music submenu and saved.

I have only changed the fontengine.dll to the one in area51, otherwise, it is the MP 1.2.3 install. No svn or other changes.

... just a side note. The issue was before I changed the fontengine.dll ... I wanted to see if it had an effect on the submenus not showing up ... it didn't

Very good skin, but the TV-Part of the skin (Mini-Guide ...) is to small. Please make it bigger

Sorry, I missed this step, I would give it another try, but since 2BitSculptor has the exact same issue and it didn't work for him I wonder if it's worth trying?
