mc2xml no longer working? (3 Viewers)

It seems that several users find mc2xml no longer working: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/646476-post182.html

In my case updates of the TV guide have failed since July 31st.

Who else sees this? Anybody where mc2xml still works? Anybody that has solved this?

Had the same problem...
redownload (http://mc2xml.110mb.com) and reinstall the exe solved it on my system

Indeed, that's what I just did and it solved the problem.

Don't understand, seems to be the same exe.

I did this too, thinking the exe got corrupted or something.

Now that I saw this thread and realize this has happened on other systems, I am REALLY curious.

Maybe it has something to do with a recent Windows Update?

Hmm... I checked md5 checksum on the new and old exe, and they are the SAME. As I understand, this implies they are bit-for-bit identical, right?!

The only difference between them is the "Date Created". <Twilight Zone music>

Really strange if it's the same exe

The only reason I see : Windows Update... the breakdown date seems to suggest this.

Still using MP RC1, no change at all except Windows Update happened on my server!
