The file you posted will definitely have an effect...see attached images. Has to be something you are/are not doing after that. Sounds like you know what to do tho, erase the files in the fonts folder, restart mp....it's probably something simple we're both just missing.

Under the quick reply box there are two buttons, "post quick reply" and "go advanced". Click the go advance button and you will see something similar to what i've attached below. Click the "+" button that i've circled and a new window will appear that will allow you to attach files. What to do in the new window is kind of self explanatory; use the browse button to find the file you want to attach and hit the upload button when done. Make sure the file is of the right type (jpeg, jpg and gif are among those accepted)...the accepted types are listed at the bottom of the new window. You can hit the "Preview Post" button underneath the text box to see you post with attached files.

The small font in some places (the time headers, show description and a few other places) is something that's going to be fixed with the next release. Those items were using font12. I removed font12 from the fonts.xml file and i'm in the process of replacing it in the other skin files. Without font12 being defined, MP reverted to a smaller font.

I don't know if you consider the words in the guide itself being too big for their boxes...but that's the alignment problem larger fonts create that i referred to earlier.

I should have some time tonight to put out the next release and update the link in the first post in the thread.

Skin updated. Link to latest installer in the first post of this thread. Among the changes:

• updated mceafo variation for many screens
• Updated TV Guides (removed the choice for 15 lines tho)
• The choice between Icons/no Icons in List controls working again
• Found/fixed a few more places where font hadn't been enlarged

To Do

• Finish Icons
• Add Top bar and scrolling speed choice for Home page
• Add Hover Images for Home page for many Plugins
• Fix any other bugs users find

When I try to install this, the UI for MP never actually shows up, although the computer thinks it's there because I can hear the sound effects. Is there something I need to do to make it show up? Here is what I did:

Install MP 0.2.2
Setup MP and verified that it works with default skin
Install Skin b3 as linked from first post in thread
copied skin from Team Portal (or whatever it is) to the folder I installed MP to
selected that skin in the MP setup
presto: no UI.

Further, once I select that skin I can revert back to a working skin; I have to re-install.

is the weather overlay plugin disabled in the MP setup? If you are using any skin other than than the mceafo variation, w/o disabling this plugin, mp will behave exactly as you have described. Its been posted in this thread a few times, and is in red type in the first post of this thread.

btw, its also possible during the installation process to specify where your mp installation is, so you don't have to do any copying later.

no problem...as long as you get it working its all good. Let me know if there are any other questions/problems.

I may add a pop up during the installation program that alerts people to this. People may find this annoying after a while, especially if they install every update.
