Updated version posted. Fixed the stuck scroll buttons in thumbnail view. Listcontrols and thumbnail panels now scroll back to the top when the bottom is reached (and vice versa).

Still to do: finish with default thumbnails. Update some plugins. I haven't had much time to test the latest set of changes, so there may be a stray listcontrol that doesn't scroll the proper way yet. Some plugins may be out of date. Instead of waiting even longer to post an update, i'm hoping that if a somebody comes across an error or an outdated plugin skin, they will post it. A screen shot if possible would speed things up greatly.

I personally like this skin the best as the fonts are much bigger on the TV OSD than most other skins. Which give the handy benefit of being able to read from my sofa! However a couple of issues I've found with 2.2 B3 release:
1 - My screen res is actually 960x540 as that fits best on my CRT 32" screen. The weather screen is not lined up (icons/text) but other skins all work fine. The text I think is in the right place but only 3 icons across the bottom the 4th is off to the right
2 - On the nonafo skin in My Videos it just get the share name and not the files within the first time, if exit back to main screen then go back in they appear. Also the circular 'egg-timer' comes up then never disappears until MP is unloaded, even if exit My Videos, watch TV anything it still remains.

Would be nice to have a bigger clearer font for the guide so I can read from across the room easy. I installed with 6 lines but because it shows the Genre as well is still a little difficult to read.

Other than the above minor issues I like this skin the best - especially the nonafo style. It looks professional & nice, clean & clear OSD & menus - good for watching TV in my lounge.

UPDATE - I've just tried B4 and fixed the My Videos shares not displaying and permanent circular egg-timer. Weather still has same issue.
However my front screen fonts have now gone a lot smaller and don't look as good, not sure yet if it's something I've done though.

Try the attached file below...they were lined up before this change for me, so i'm kind of taking a stab in the dark. I'm almost positive that the problem has something to do with the screen resolution, but i'm not sure how to duplicate it for testing. i don't think 960x540 is a supported res for my tv.

Are you talking about the guide itself? Everything but the channel name uses the same font size as the rest of the skin. The font size in the guide itself is as large as i can make it w/o exceeding the top and the bottom border of the program box. Its also the only guide choice where the font is as big as the font throughout the entire skin and shows genre. What i'm getting at is (besides the channel name), i don't know if i can make the font any larger without removing the genre.

Haven't changed the fonts file in over a month. Just did a fresh install of the skin to double check, and my fonts are ok. When you installed the new version of the skin, did you erase the skin folder prior to install? Forces the fonts to be regenerated, which is my be the problem or solution depending on what else is going on with your htpc.

Hi - you might have missed the edited message - my videos seems to work on Beta4 which I had not spotted had become available. The myvideo.txt file I tried anyway just gave me a black background in My Videos and I couldn't escape back to the main screen. Weather is still misaligned, only does it on this skin all others I used at my res of 960x540 work fine both 4:3 & 16:9 skins.

sorry, i attached the wrong file...the one for the weather is attached to this post. I'm also going to edit my message above so that nobody else has a problem because i attached the wrong file.

I think part of the problem is that i used stacklayout and didn't specify the width of the images. Works ok at 1280x720, but going smaller might have brought this error out. That is the change i made in the file below.

Tried it - see attached jpg, still seems to be the same layout. I'm assuming I just rename the weather.txt to .xml and replace the file in the skin folder.

On the guide it is because each segment has not only the program title but also the Genre, if it was just the title it would be much more readable as simpler on the screen. Not sure about the main screen fonts, I think that is because another skin I was trying added a font to Windows, I've deleted that now (HandelGotD.ttf) - after I deleted from Windows it seems ok now ... maybe just a coincidence.

ok, i see what you are saying now...I made a major change in the xml in the .2.2.0 releases that did nothing functional, it just made skinning easier for me. I'll dig up an older myweather.xml file attach it and see if that helps.

Do you want 6 or 8 lines, and which version of the skin are you using (normal or the mceafo variation)? [Edit-- maybe i should look at your screenshot to tell which version you are using....] I can do some quick edits to the tv guide for you, cutting out the genre and making the title bigger. If there is a demand for something like this, i'll make it part of the installer. If isn't part of the installer, then you'd have to copy the special tvguide file into the skin folder after each install.
