when ever I load up MP it gives Me an skin outdated will cause problems error

If that box gets too annoying, open up references.xml and at the top there should be a <version> tag (or something like that). Change the value from .2.2.0 to .2.2.1 and you should be good to go. Won't solve other issues, but at least you'll have one thing to deal with on mp start up.

No, its been put on hold temporarily. I've built a carpc so i'm working on getting mp to work with that. I a little behind on recent development, but the last i checked the refresh plugin wasn't working with later versions of the SVN. Skinning without that plugin is painful to say the least.

There are probably a few things i can go back and address for the last stable release of mp (v .2.2.0), but i'm hoping to see a new stable version soon. In the mean time if there is something you want/need done to the version for the stable release, drop me a pm or post to the thread.

Boilermaker this skin is superb. Ive just rebuilt my htpc and gone from mce on 2.0.4 to mceafo on 2.2.0 and its stunning, I even have more WAF points which Im very grateful for.

Ive tried to read all the posts in this thread and I apologise if I have missed the answer but I have one or two issues.

Firstly when I go straight to the tv guide the 'mini' tv comes up in the bottom corner but description next to it flickers ever so slightly up and down. The date underneath it is slightly doubled up too but it doesnt flicker.

Its fine on the other screens when I have the mini screen and only appears to happen on the guide.

The other problem I have is when Im on the guide if I highlight a channel but dont select it the mini tv appears to change to a random channel. Each time I select a new programme (to see the description for example) the mini tv changes again. It doesnt change to the programme Im watching it just appears to be random.

Thanks for you efforts on this skin, it really is superb.

Hello mate,

Ive sorted the second issue that I was having (well I know what it is now). My channel buttons also do the page up and down and the channels were changing as I was paging through the guide !

Ok, i think i've got it, sorry it took a while, my tuner card was being very uncooperative and crashing mp every time i went into myTV. Anyway, i'm guessing you are using the mceafo variation and you have timeshifting on. Download the attached files, remove the extra .txt extension (to make it an xml file) and put them in the skin folder.

I believe that will fix the problem.

Firstly sorry for taking so long to reply, Ive only just seen your post. Ive put both files into the skin folder and they fix the problem

Unfortunately when a program that has a long name shows up, the name scrolls but also leaves the name underneath, so one scrolls on top of the original underneath.

Otherwise it looks fabulous !

I just looked at both files again and i know why...one is a regular label and one is something called a fadelabel (basically a scrolling label). MP is recording something at the moment, but i should get a chance to play with it in the morning.
