Thanks KRA, i appreciate any input i can get. Its going to be a rainy weekend where i'm at, which is good for skinning. Look for a cvs version by the end of the weekend.

Just as a heads up, the server i've got stuff posted on is going down for maintenence this weekend...uploading/downloading skins may not be possible at times.
I'm also working on a CVS version, however i'm currently unable to figure out how to get the music overlay working again. Once i do, i'll post a CVS version.[/list]

I added a button to switch to basichome, just like blue two...however, i reused an old image because i ran out of time and didn't get to create a new button. I still have to complete getting to and from basichome.

it might be just you... Nobody else has informed me of a problem, but i honestly wonder how many people are using the skin at this point. The only time i've used mp after the latest round of skinning was to watch videos ripped to my hard drive. I had a list and all movies were accounted for. What i did have a problem with was after playing a movie, when i came back to mp, it said "0 objects" even tho a list was there.
I can double check when i return home after the weekend, but i'm pretty sure my videos was working. Is it just this skin, or any skin that you've tried? Also, if you are using the cvs versions of mp, there could be a problem with the skin. Usuallly don't touch the cvs version for a month after an official release.

I use the skin with 1360*760 resolution on 32" TFT for some days now.
I really like it
The only thing to improve is TV-Guide since the channel-names are toooo small to read when sitting in living-room-distance. Maybe you can make these entries a bit bigger??

Its an easy change...I chose the font so that almost all of the channel names would fit in the alloted space. I didn't want to make the space any larger, because then it would be less room for other things, like the listings themselves. Uli321, check this thread on wednesday, i'll post detailed instructions on how to change the font...it will only be one small change in one file and can easily be done with a text editor.
Ideally, someday we'll be able to allow for more user customization without having to edit files, but unfortunately some things aren't possible right now, so i hope that for now a little editing isn't a problem.

make a copy of your mytvguide.xml file in case there is a problem.....
in the file mytvguide.xml:
locate a section the following section of code (its about halfway down the file):
<control>
<description>channel Label template</description>
<type>label</type>
<id>18</id>
<posX>35</posX>
<posY>9</posY>
<width>65</width>
<height>15</height>
<font>font8</font>
<textcolor>FFFFFFFF</textcolor>
</control>
change font8 to any one of the following:
font10
font11
font12
font15
save file and restart mediaportal

I was using the CVS version but it happens also with the original release. I found something interesting after quite some testing. It seems that MyVideos will not list the videos only when the MyTrailers plugin is disabled. I can't figure out what the connection is, but when I've enabled the MyTrailers plugin, It suddenly worked well... BTW with standard MCE skin, it never happens (alls well)
