MCE Remote+ Windows 7 - Mediaportal not working!! (1 Viewer)

As described in this thread:

Mediaportal cannot pick up commands from MCE remote... Only the buttons: Navigation (Right, left, up, down) Mute, OK and Power on / down. Are working in Mediaportal!

LM Remote Keymap can pickup signals from the MCE remote just fine... (Every button on the MCE remote gets recognized with correct assigned "keymap" Stop, Play, Volume, 1, 2, 3 etc etc etc...
So as far as i can see the computer can recieve the commands from the IR. But NOT pass them through to Mediaportal!?

I have just tested my MCE Remote on Windows 7 Media Center, with standard Windows 7 drivers... And the buttons work perfectly now!!!! Therefore there must be a big BUG in Mediaportal, letting mediaportal only pick up command from the following buttons:

OK, Navigation (Up, down, right, left), mute and Power On/down!!

It was working perfectly when i was running Mediaportal 1.0.0.0

Allright... But there is no such file in the Mediaportal install directory?? Only a file called "Remoteplugins.dll" In the folder ../Mediaportal/Weather/

And if i just copy the file Remoteplugins.dll to the root of /Mediaportal/ It doesn't help...

Please provide the source codes to the remote control plugin changes so we can have a look and fix the MCE remote control support under Windows 7.

You should upload the patch file to the development area: Submit patches (MediaPortal/TV-Server/etc.) - MediaPortal Forum

That file is not backward compatible, ie does not work with Vista\xp, would it be possible to modify it to work with both, which would be the ideal, rather than say letting the installer decide if Win7 installed and therefore different files need to be extracted to the MP program folder.

Sure, we just need the patch and then make the code to select the behavior based on the OS version.

Okay, i do not speak rus.

Could anyone please ask him to provice the sources as patch in our "submit patches" forum?
Because this is the only way this change will be part of 1.1.0.
