I have tried every trick I could think of to get the system to fully wake. Different methods of simulating keystrokes and mouse movements, requesting the screen by using SetThreadExecutionState() etc. Non of it did have any effect.
I even made an option to restart eHome or MediaPortal at automatic resumes which I did not do before. This also does not get the system to fully wake.
(you can this build here: http://www.downloadcounter.de/counter.pl?file=http://www.xs4all.nl/~hveijk/mst/files/mst0977t.zip&user=hveijk)
How does your system react when you close MediaPortal by hand before entering standby?
Have you tried the USBBIOSHACKS option?
What remote are you using?
Does it happen when you put the system standby from the MediaPortal menu, by pressing the power button of the remote or both?

The ability to wake up via remote control (RC) is more likely to depend on the hardware than the software. Some motherboards have a jumper that has to be set to provide power to the RC-interface (usually IR or USB) during hibernation. A search of the forum will turn up threads with more details on this subject.just a little question, with this software can i wake up my pc from hibernate from the remote control ?
