I've been setting up a kiosk solution for a sports bar. It pulls in 12 channels. I can go fullscreen, when I click the go to fullscreen button on the skin that works as it should. there is no feature in the skin though to return to the previous screen after it has gone fullscreen. Also I wish to add a button to call MSN Messenger.
My budget for this project consultancy is 250 USD. I am willing to grant remote access to the box on which the application is running.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
