Well I must say that the little chap is growing on me as a mascot. I think that it is the cheekiness about him that I like.

Here is my attempt a seeing what I can with it. The good thing about him is that he is a simple character to build and that’s good for me as I’m no expert in modeling.

Going along with Forgotten Illustrator's "cheeky" ideas, why not have the mepol make his name out of MediaPortal and transform onto his chest emblem? Could be a cut little opening video. Just a thought after seeing your ideas. I'm sure Glenn is, kinda under his breath, wishing we would let him finish. But it is just so fun to let my little (very little I know) creative juices bubble out. OK, where is that wash cloth so I can clean up this mess?

me too! the mix between technology (with all the coverarts etc) and the physical texture of traditional artwork would make an AWESOME skin imo

CINEMA 4D R9 demo that i downloaded some time ago. i know that they have a R10 now but theres no need for me to downlaod that because i dont even know what half the buttons do in R9

I just first read this thread. I have to say that the first thing that struck me, concerning the proposed "imp" mascot, was that it looks alot like the old "blackface" performers.

They were white performers who painted their faces black and left their lips pink or painted them white.

This may only be an issue here in the US, but it is no longer considered a good thing.
