Was attempting to set up media portal today and was notified that my card is not supported and to report it to the forum. The card is a PCTV 800i

Hi and welcome tvbum (nice handle :))

Were you trying to use the analog input/tuner? If so, you probably just need to install software encoders.
Having said that, based on the time that you've posted and the type of tuner the 800i is, I'm guessing that you're based in the US or Canada. If I'm right, I would have thought that you would be needing the digital ATSC/QAM side of the card rather than the analog side.

It depends, if he is connected to an analog cable, he would use the analog part.

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.

@Pablik I finally got back to this, and I got it working. What I did was this. I intended to copy the UHD-BR disc to my local hard drive, so I put the disc in the drive, and then brought up MakeMKV. In MakeMKV I went through the initial steps to copy the UHD-BR disc to my drive, and while MakeMKV was parsing the disc, I noticed a...
