After many hours of debugging and bashing my head against a wall...

Please try the attached patch.
This patch should enable the standard IPTV source to scan without crashing. Playback may fail like with the merged IPTV/URL-source-splitter filter... but that's a separate problem. First we have to get scanning to work. We can investigate other problems afterwards with new log files etc.

Installation Instructions

1. Open TV Server Configuration.
2. Go to the "manual control" section.
3. Click "stop service".
4. Open Windows File Explorer.
5. Navigate to your TV Server installation directory (typically c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server).
6. Make a backup of MPIPTV_HTTP.dll. Note that you must put the copy/backup outside the TV Server installation directory to avoid problems.
7. Download and extract the attached replacement MPIPTV_HTTP.dll into your TV Server installation directory.
8. In TV Server Configuration click "start service".

I try to search to stream in rtsp or rtmp but I found nothing about on internet.
I found only topics for add a rtsp or rtmp on Vu Unok 4k.
But i do not lose hope to found it.

I am unhappy to tell you that but no more result :
1)
-I have stop service
-put your dll in directory MPIPTV
-Start service
result: all card are busy

2)
-I have try to add a second DVBIP tuner
-Do scan channel
result: all card are busy

3)
-I have try to group DVBIp tuner
result: all card are busy

I am ashamed do not give you more best result than them.

Hi,
I remember something done on TvServer side (on the build i'm using) to avoid a crash while tuning IPTV (m3u channel).
I know that i can tune the one from dreambox DM800Se, i didn't remember if that fix was commit on TVE3.

If you are in mood to test this build, it not the same as original MP (few branch are in it and not in current final release because of code freeze) but maybe you can try it to confirm that it works or not

In fact, if you can stream the channel on VLC, it should works.

Par contre, il faudra surement une installation clean (logiquement ma version marche apres une installation 1.16 Final) mais si tu veux conserver des parametres etc. il faudra faire un backup

si tu re-trouve le patch adéquate !
mais pour info, le filter de georgius évite le crash ( si je me souvient bien ), mais par contre refuse la lecture, alors peut etre une mauvaise configuration, et je pencherai sur un login/password à défnir dans le plugin de georgius pour chaque stream !

SI je ne me trompe pas, meme avec le patch de Georgius, il fallait qd meme faire un fix coté tvserver (mais je ne sais plus si c'est integré en master)
Par contre coté dreambox, de mon coté, pas besoin d'avoir un login pass
