Is there any changes to the databases or can we backup them from latest SVN and use with RC1 without causing any problems?
TvServer Database will be re-used. No dataloss.

The DB's from MediaPortal itselfe can be reused as well if you want to - but you need to manually copy them from the _backup folder.
And no guarantee that these db's will work without issues. ;)

Thanks a lot, now I can't get anything done this weekend...

Just kidding, seems that a lot has been fixed even from the last SVN. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Will I have any issues using this on Windows 7 64bit?

Hopefully not, but there's only one way to find out!

Bear in mind that this is a release candidate, not yet a final stable release. We hope there are no problems, but cannot guarantee anything.

OK, was just checking if there was a major known problem as I'm thinking I'll re-install my HTPC in the lounge onto 7 rather than XP but would use the 64bit version instead. I've been using MP for 5 years or so, so am used to the odd hiccup!

Well done on getting this out though, I've been looking forward to it for a long time!

Using W7 64bit on all HTPC's and the ServerPC - no issues (if you have proper drivers for your TvCard(s) ;) ).
