Oh ok :(. Without this bugfix MediaPortal is completely unusable for me, since no client can connect (except the first time after a fresh boot of the server) and streaming itself also doesn't work without heavy video and audio artifacts ( https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...d-client-cant-connect-streaming-server-81944/ ).

This is a different issue, and the fix has been included in RC3. I guess there are too many StreamingServer dlls floating around :(
Hmm... well I was using the StreamingServer.dll from the thread I posted earlier, the one with the HD channel problem. It fixed my connection and streaming video/audio artifact problems. I got the idea from this post. Since he didn't provide any info from where he got the StreamingServer.dll, I simply tried the aformentioned one, which was the first and most recent one I could find. Maybe that fix was included in that particular StreamingServer.dll too?

    Uh?
We are both using the same Tv-Card, and I have no issues at all running 3 clients......
I don't think it has anything to do with the TVcard itself.

I guess that we both also tune to Astra 19.2°E and mostikely watch the scrambled ORF Channels?

So besides that I use W7 (now - used WinXp a looooong time), I see no bug differences.+
    Anyway, should be discussed elsewhere.

I can just recommed to install RC3 and test. :)

Yep, will probably do it this weekend. Also I should have opened my thread in the RC2 forum, not in the Genral Support forum, sorry for that ;)

Nice revisionist history on the main page, what with it saying you released it on the 14th, lol.

    :D

Great to hear that for the majority of the users (including all team members) the upgrade option is working nicely.
So far, "only" 3 users reported that for some reason their TvService.exe was not updated to RC3.

We think that for some reason their TvService.exe got locked and therefore "readonly".
But we do not know why yet. If anyone else encounters this issue, please report in the related bugreport thread.
