...or maybe you ran into SMB cache issues. Over time, more and more files got locked, until TsWriter was forced to use the full complement of files.

Either way, the channel on the client was stuck. I was still able to ESC out of TV and stop it from within MP2.
So in the end, it appears to be something from just the TV side.

    I could reproduce this issue:

If you put the installer on a network mapped drive, the elevation of setup fails here. Exact the same installer started from a local drive works fine.

So did you start the installer locally? Can you try this again with the build from this post?

If this works I think we should publish to Update 1 build even this week!

    Hi :)
The installer is on local drive :) i'm in vacation and then no network drive available.
But like my user has redirected folder for desktop and documents, maybe something is interacting.
Will copy installer from my local D: to C: and retry :)

Want to know if someone has they same problem
If I switch from a decrypted to an encrypted channel, for example Pro7 to ORF1 HD, sometimes the screen stays black.
Than I´ve to stop Live-TV and start on the channel I like to watch again.
If I switch to a decrypted channel and want to switch back again, the same happened.

Sometimes after restarting MediaPortal this issues is gone, sometimes not.

I have no access to my htpc until Monday, so I can´t attach a log-file

PS: Is it possible to integrate a "Restart MediaPortal" function in the menu?

    Sorry but another bug.
I used the client to add a music share to my server
    Music_01.jpg

No matter what view I use on the client, I cannot locate the share to possibly remove it.
    Music_02.jpg Music_03.jpg

Not really even sure what logs to include because I added the share yesterday.

I cleaned up everything on the client and server.
    Reimported my music.
While browsing around in my music a few things came up.

Doing a filter by Genre sorts to something other than what I have in each audio / music file.
Not only are my directories set (Music/Genre/Artist/Album) I have almost all if them tagged properly.

As I am doing this, there are delays in response time yet I have a full functional 1G network with IP4 and IP6 working.
Pings and netstat show connections are made properly between the client only and server only system.

Is it possible this error (happens often) is the possible cause?

Today I did a clean install of Windows 10 and afterwards a clean install of the latest version of Mediaportal 2 (MediaPortal-2__origin__WiP_SR15_U1_v4__2015-08-03--17-01).

Now when I try to start MediaPortal 2 TV Configuration I end up with an exception: "Failed to startup tvserviceSystem.NullReferenceException".

Attached I have the log files after the latest try as well as a screenshot of the exception.
    Is this a known error?
